My interior style has been described as “Bold, Edgy, Urban, Rock ‘n’ Roll Opulence”.

I’ll take that! I love this description.

But it hasn’t always been like that.

Years ago, I was battling a chronic skin condition, called Discoid Lupus, that left me depressed, anxious, agoraphobic and sad.

Back then you could describe the interior of my home as: “Scared, safe, boring & a little bit bland!”

Why?

Because I believe, how I decorated was mirroring my stuck emotions.

Making a life changing discovery

Not too long ago I moved home (with my family) and was presented with the task of doing up the place. In the beginning the only thing I knew I wanted was to not recreate the same, stuck, energy that I had in our old house.

So, I took decorating our new home as the opportunity to make some changes.

Not only to the decor but also to how I felt about myself.

And I used interior design to do that.

I discovered how to design & decorate leading with personality & emotion. How to identify what works and what doesn't and how to use words to drive the design.

By implementing these changes my confidence improved and sometime later, after a 25 year search, found a remedy that healed my skin.

Now, I want to share with you at my upcoming talk at Soho Studio, Crouch End my secrets & tips on how you can create a more personality driven interior to improve your life.

In this hour long talk, entitled Create a Love Affair with Your Home, I’ll walk you through the exact steps you can take immediately to make a difference to the relationship you have with where you live.
